COZART, WINTON posted by Peggy C. Wilson on Wednesday, July 2, 1997: I am looking for other WINTON researchers willing to share information. James Albert WINTON was counted in the 1870 Hopkins Co. census. His son, Stephen Robert WINTON married Elizabeth Paralee COZART in Hopkins Co. in 1871 or 1872. He moved to Indian Territory (Marsden, Oklahoma) between 1891 and 1893. He was back in Texas by the 1900 census in Montague Co. Anyone researching this family is invited to our WINTON Family Reunion 19 Jul 1997 in Nocona, Tx.
