It is reported that at one time there was an old Indian Settlement where the cemetery is located and sixty-five years ago there were 30 or 40 graves. Now there are only two marked graves inside a fence that marked the Worthington family plots. The oldest inscribed grave in the cemetery is that of Charles Chesley Worthington who died 22 Mar 1859. It is reported that he came to Texas from South Carolina in 1838. This cemetery was recorded on 7 Mar 1993, by Elizabeth House and Betsy Mills and additional information was given by Willie Devlin. It was revisited by Lawrence and Sue Dale in May 2014. They reported that the land in the area has all been bought by a Mr. Davis. The county road signs have been removed from CR 13570 so it is reverting to a farm lane.

The following persons are known to be buried here: Infant Brown, James Hefflefinger, Mr. & Mrs. Jackson, Art Pollard, (all the preceeding births and deaths are not known), Charles Chesley Worthington 22 Mar 1797 - 22 Mar 1859, Frances Chandler Worthington 10 Jan 1801 - 3 Feb 1864.
