Bray-Byram Cemetery, Lamar County, TX


Bray-Bryam Cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of the county about one mile north of the intersection of Loop 286 and 19th NW. Follow 19th NW toward Lake Crook about one mile. It is on County Road 31600 in Block 32 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993. The cemetery is about 100 yards west of the road in a pasture. It was recorded on 8 May 1992 by Elizabeth House and Betsy Mills, and was on the private property of Merry Lee Bryam. There are 8 known graves. The oldest inscribed grave in the cemetery is that of Lucy Bray who died 18 Jun 1884. The following persons are known to be buried here: Hermon Akins 1905 - Mar 1911, Mildred Gladys Gregory Biggs 2 Sep 1918 - 23 Apr 1992, Stanley Biggs 1 Jan 1918 - 8 Mar 1986, Harrison Bray Birth not known - 22 Nov 1915, Lucy Bray 5 Sep 1817 - 18 Jun 1884, Orange Bray 1792 - 5 Feb 1891, Unknown Bray 4 Jul 1872 - 15 Apr 1909, Derrell Wayne Bryam 4 Jun 1949 - 18 Feb 1986.
